Arthur was in the US Navy during WWII serving as a gunner. He went on to work at Kodak for 36 years as a Technical Assistant for Equipment Development on several important projects. He would often print out pictures of his grandchildren to be used for a Grandparent class that his wife, Roberta, taught at Genesee Hospital. He played for the Kodak softball league and was a star pitcher. Art was a member of the British American Club and could often be seen dancing with his wife Roberta. After retirement from Kodak, Art worked at Irondequoit Country Club as a landscaper tending to the greens and fairways. He would often bring home golf balls he would find to spread his love of the game with others. He also enjoyed bowling, watching baseball and hockey any chance he got. Art had a love for nature, especially Honeoye Lake and his beloved hummingbirds. When it came to his grandchildren and great grandchildren there was nothing that he wouldn't do. Whether he was swinging them, taking them for boat rides, playing ball for hours or spoiling them with treats, he cherished every moment he spent with each of them. Arthur held many different titles serving his community throughout the years such as President of the ARC of Wayne County and as an elder at his church. Art enjoyed life to the fullest, was a hard working and kind hearted man who cherished his family and friends.
The family of Art would like to extend their appreciation to the entire staff of 2 North at the Episcopal Church Home for their loving care and support of Art and our family.
