Arthur P. Mummery of Henrietta, NY:

Born 26 June 1933, in Freedom, NY passed away peacefully at home on the 14 November 2022 at age 89. Pre-deceased by his Beloved wife of 65 years, Zola Mummery.

Loving father to sons: Dale Mummery, Curtis Mummery (Wife: Debbie), Dennis Mummery (Wife: Gina), Mark Mummery (Wife: Anne); and daughters: Donna Mummery (Husband: Lee) and Diana Stevens (Husband: Alan).

He is predeceased by his parents, Percy and Dorothy Mummery.

Art has one sister Florence Scherff living in Texas and one brother Francis Mummery (wife: Nancy) living in Rochester, NY.

Loving Grandfather to 10 grandchildren; Tiffany, Heather, Jessica, Scott, Jacob, Christopher, Joshua, Kyle, Keith and Ryan; and 13 great-grandchildren: Avery, Autumn, Zander, River, Elena, Brandon, Lucas, Paisley, Matthew, Hayley, Rylee, MaKenna and Taryn.

He is also survived by a niece, nephews and friends.

Arthur was a proud United States Air Force Veteran, a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, and a member of the Operating Engineers Union for over 60 years. He was a dedicated employee of Dow & Company, Inc. Rochester, NY for 31 years. Arthur was volunteer Chief Mechanic for the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum in Rush, NY for over 15 years.

He also volunteered in the Town of Henrietta summer baseball organization in the 1970’s as a trustee and in charge of the Fanny Farmer candy drive each spring.

Viewing will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 with a Funeral Service held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 all held at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. 3325 Winton Road South. Burial will follow service at Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush NY.
