Jane Humphreys Dieck
Dear Jane, Your daughter, Louisa, is a member of our church and a star in our choir. Her warmth and good nature make her irresistible! I don't know anyone who doesn't love her. Her voice is always sympathetic, and many seek her counsel. We all "look up to her" and that's not just because she's tall. It was fun reading and hearing more about you, though I'm sad to have never met you in person. Louisa must have inherited a lot of her joy and beauty from you. My sympathy flows to your entire family and, envy, too. They were fortunate to have grown up in your presence. Carolyn T.

Folks: It is a very sad time knowing that conversations with Jane will be wonderful memories from now on. My thoughts are with the family.

Our condolences to Jane's family. Jane has been a dedicated volunteer and supporter for Meals On Wheels for decades. Her belief in our mission of serving and looking out for those in need within her community is inspiring. Her selfless efforts brought hope to many. Jane was fearless, she delivered weekly through all types of weather - rain, snow, high winds. It was important that everyone receive their hot meal. Nothing stopped her from her regular city route in Rochester (which was the neighborhood she grew up in). I delivered with Jane a few times and she shared the history of the neighborhood she grew up in, sharing information about the houses & families that used to live there, etc.. Words are not enough to express our gratitude for her service.
