Donna D. Rowe of Fairport, born Donna Gail Dudley, passed away on December 10th, 2022, at 79 years of age.

Donna was a beloved teacher and devoted her life to helping others. That help came in many forms – teaching adults to read for the first time, teaching English to those who just immigrated to this country or helping people return to school to get their GEDs. As a YMCA swim instructor, Donna taught many in Fairport and Pittsford to swim. She will always be remembered for her remarkable selflessness, warm smile and unwavering commitment to doing what’s right.

Donna’s love story with husband Howie was one for the books – neither leaving the other’s side for 52 very happy years. She enjoyed travel, horseback riding and accompanying Howie to his many band performances with their extended family of Rochester musicians.

In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her son Charlie, daughter Lindsay and partner Scott, sister Paula, brother Dick and brother-in-law Richard.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held this spring at Miller Funeral Home in Henrietta.
