Pat was born in Dexter, Maine. She attended Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine and received a Bachelors of Science in Education from Wheelock College in Boston. There was no end to her creative abilities-painting, wood carving, sewing & knitting were just a few. She loved animals of all sizes, but was especially fond of dogs. In the 1960s she raised, trained and showed German Shepherds in South Daytona, Florida. As a stay at home Mom in Northville, Michigan and Honeyoe Falls, NY, she kept active with her four children, numerous pets (domestic & farm), volunteering at school events, gardening, selling Avon and Tupperware, taking classes for a wide variety of interests and maintaining her home as a very capable do-it-yourselfer. In Rochester, NY, she competed as a ballroom dancer with Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Upon her retirement in Dunnellon, Florida, she continued to stay active with ballroom dancing, metal detecting, wood carving, playing cards, the Red Hat Society and was an avid reader. She had a special love of swimming and enjoyed frequent trips to the beach. She was a caretaker of her parents and once they passed, she returned to Rochester, NY where she lived her remaining days surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
