February 15, age 73, surrounded by his family. Gary is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Phyllis. Gary was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, bravely serving a tour of duty in Vietnam. Upon returning, he began his career in the electrical contracting field, retiring in 2013 as a Chief Estimator. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Francine (Ferrari), his beloved children Laurie (Rob Valentino), Lisa (Jay Falvo) and Michael; brother, Doug (Laurie), sister-in-law, Anne (Al Ormiston), grandchildren Adam, Jacob, Juliana, Lucas, Maya, Kaelyn and Leah, and many nieces and nephews.
Known as Big Guy to his family and friends, and Bubba to his grandchildren, Gary had a wonderful sense of humor, providing one-liners that would make you laugh for days. He loved road trips, vacationing at the beach and pop-up parties where he would spend quality time with his family.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 20 from 10:00am-1:00pm at Miller Funeral Home, 3325 South Winton Road, Rochester, 14623 and a celebration of Gary’s life will be held in the Chapel at 1:00pm. Interment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Honor Flight Rochester.
