Brian Louis Dwyer, age 69, of Pittsford, NY passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday March 8, 2023. He was born on November 4, 1953 in Rochester, NY.
Predeceased by his parents, Louis and Agnes (Walsh) Dwyer; brothers Timothy and Thomas Dwyer, and twin sister Barbra Dwyer Eriss. He is survived by his loving wife of over 45 years, Maureen (Brennan) Dwyer; daughter Elizabeth (Alessio) DeIuliis; son Andrew (Jenelle) Dwyer; grandchildren Grace, Enzo, Lucy and Laney; beloved pup, Addie; sister Sheila (Paul) Knipper; brothers Terry (Nancy) Dwyer and Kevin (Laura) Dwyer; numerous extended family members including brothers and sisters-in law, cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many dear friends.
After attending McQuaid Jesuit Highschool, Brian attended Wheeling Jesuit College and graduated in 1975. He began his banking career at Chase Lincoln and retired from M & T Bank in 2016. He served on the board of countless non- profits organizations throughout the Rochester community. Outside of his business career, Brian enjoyed life’s simple pleasures; a rare steak, a nice cigar, a cold drink, the Buffalo Bills and storytelling with family and friends. He was an avid golfer and a member of Oak Hill Country Club for over 47 years, where he cherished a lot of friendships and late-night euchre games.
Spirituality was also a very important part of Brian’s life. He was a firm believer that for those to whom much is given, much is required. Brian lived his life that way. He was always so mindful of his abundant blessings and generously shared his faith, time and talent.
