Eileen passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2023 after a long illness surrounded by family. She was born on December 21, 1930 in Rochester, NY.
Predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Robert (Bob); and daughter, Mary Pat Tobey.
Survived by her children, Bob, Bonnie Lupia, Kathy Velekkakan, Eileen (Lino) Contestabile, Michael (Amy); 14 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
Eileen proudly graduated, worked, and retired from RIT.
Eileen’s life reflected her strong faith and the importance of volunteerism, which she passed on to her children and the next generations.
Her Irish heritage was a source of pride and joy.
We are so grateful to our special aides that helped us so much with Mom, close friends, neighbors, and, UR Medicine Hospice.
Friends may call on FRIDAY, March 17, from 4-6 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, 3325 Winton Road South. Funeral Mass will be held SATURDAY, March 18, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption, 99 Main St, Scottsville. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush, NY. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Ovarian Cancer Research, 14 Pennsylvania Plaza, Ste 2110, New York, NY 10122, or, Monastery of Mary the Queen, 15635 Greenridge Rd., Girard, IL 62640, c/o Sr. David Marie (Beikirch), Ref: In Memory of Eileen Beikirch, is suggested.
