Pamela A. Huff

Henrietta – On September 24, 1955, Pamela Ann Huff was born to Sarah and Willie Harvey Huff, in Sylvania Georgia. She was the fifth in a line of, what would be, nine children. She graduated from East High School, in 1972. During her early adult years, Pamela served as a police officer for the Screven County Police Department, in Sylvania Georgia. In 1975, she gave birth to her first child, Tawanda Nichole Felder, in Rochester, New York, and later to her son, Michael Sherod Scott. Pamela would soon, thereafter, obtain a position at Marine Midland bank in the Proof Department. She worked her way up from that entry level opportunity and would later flourish as an astute business woman. It would not be long before she was promoted to Assistant Vice President, after Marine Midland became HSBC. Pamela had the reputation of being highly competent, for which she earned awards and received accolades, throughout her career, for her performance at each of the financial institutions in which she worked. Whenever she wasn’t working or spending time with her children and her siblings, Pamela loved to travel. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 23 which became her battle-cry. During her final months, Pamela expressed not only a knowledge of the 23rd Psalm but a trust in the Shepherd. Pamela Ann Huff will be dearly missed. She leaves behind to mourn her loss, her mother Sarah Huff, her daughter Tawanda Nichole Felder, her son Michael Sherod Scott, her grandchildren, Daron Roper, Brianna Scott, Devin Felder, Michael Scott Jr., Ajon Scott, her siblings, Rosa Harrell (Eugene Harrell), Vivian Mason, Mary Ann Marotta, John L. Huff, Sandra Parks (Jeffrey Parks), and Richard Huff (Ann Huff), a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
