Edward “Ted” Ely Keller aka Big Ed, 88, of Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully on April 1st, 2023.

He was born March 10, 1935, to Emil Harold and Marion Keller.

Ted grew up in Rochester, New York, where he helped in the family florist business. He joined the United State Army in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1958. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and enjoyed a long career in sales with many companies including Sibley’s, Mangurians, Max Pies, Raymour & Flanigan’s, and Messner’s.

Whether at a family gathering or hanging with the breakfast crew, many will remember him for his warm smile and infectious laugh. He enjoyed spending time with family, playing golf, and visiting the farm in Madison County where he helped build a log cabin with his brother and friends in 1985.

Ted is survived by his ex-wife and mother of his sons, Catherine Keller; sons David (Cindy) and Dean (Joy); his niece, Kim Keller; his nephews Scott (Erin) and John Michael Keller (Dee); and grandchildren, Nikolas and Vivian Keller. He was predeceased by his brothers, Paul (aka Pete) and Jack Keller.
