Henrietta, NY- passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved family on April 16, 2023. Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Sandra (Sulli) Faggiano and children, Charles Faggiano (Chris Binns), Mary Louise Stevens (Rick), Michael Faggiano (Fetia), Steven Faggiano, Michelle Penna (Scott Diehl), Patricia LaRocca (Scott), Robert Faggiano (Sheri), 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his sons, Salvatore Faggiano and Paul Faggiano, parents Salvatore Faggiano and Luigina (DeRosa) Faggiano and brother Vincent Faggiano (Anna).

Charles was employed by Rochester Telephone Company for 38 years. He retired in 1996. He was involved in many organizations including the Summit Federal Credit Union which he served as a member on the board of directors. He was actively involved with the Moose Club where he earned the highest degree as a Pilgrim of the Order. Charles was the current president of the retirees in the C.W.A. Local 1170 until his passing.

Charles loved being with his family. Sunday dinners around his dining room table was his greatest highlight. He would tell his children and grandchildren all his childhood stories growing up in the city of Rochester with his wife Sandra on Fair Place and Goodman Street. The grandchildren loved listening to his stories about the cars he had and the odd jobs he did to earn money. He had an endless amount of jokes to make all of us laugh. Charles loved to bet his grandsons on football games. He was always betting against the Buffalo Bills but deep down we knew he was routing for the Bills. He would call and leave messages on the phone to remind each of them what they owed him. The last couple of years, he was getting calls from them telling him what he owed them. Charles also loved his four legged grandchildren and would always ask for us to bring our dogs over to him.

We would like to share our Dad’s exact words to his children and grandchildren whenever they left his house, “You take care of yourself and be good”. And now our family would like to say the same words to our Dad and our brothers in heaven “You take care of yourselves and be good”.

Friends and Family may call Monday, April 24, 2023 from 4-8 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South. Charles’ funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Marianne Cope Parish Guardian Angels, 2061 East Henrietta Road. Interment Ascension Garden Cemetery.
