Eileen C. Porter passed away peacefully on April 19th after a short illness. Predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Thomas Porter. Survived by children: Lee (Stephen) Trojanczyk, Brett (Sara) Porter, and Matt (Debbie) Porter; grandchildren: Carrie, Sara, Kate and Eli; as well as nieces and nephews.

Eileen was born and raised on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation and then raised her family in Henrietta, NY. She worked for the Rochester Psychiatric Center for 15 years. She and her husband, Tom purchased their home in Punta Gorda in 2003 and spent their winters golfing and playing cards with friends. She loved quilting, raising and showing dogs, traveling the world, playing canasta, reading and knowing what was for dinner.

She loved learning and seeing new things and encouraged everyone around her to do the same. The wisdom, laughter and care she shared throughout her life will always be remembered by her family and friends.

Her service will be held privately.
