Salvatore “Sal” Francis Moraldo, 81, was predeceased by his father, Frank, his mother, Rosalie, and his infant son, Francis Anthony. He is survived by his sisters, Marie Smythe, and Angela (William) Mueller, his children, Theresa (Srbo Ivanisevic), Daniel (Kate Wallace), and Phillip (Lissa), as well as his grandchildren, Miri, Rhyse, Natalie, and Eli.
Throughout his life, Sal traveled the world professionally with Xerox and leisurely with family and friends. Raised in the Bronx, he was a huge fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. Sal was a devout Catholic and very active, especially at St. Helen’ s Church. He was also a faithful member of both St. Mary’s and St. Catherine of Siena’s parishes.
Golf was his favorite pastime. A proud member of Brook-Lea Country Club, Sal especially enjoyed spending time there with his family and life-long friends. He usually did so drinking a Tanqueray martini with three olives in-hand. Those closest to him would describe him as warm, loving, loyal, easy-going, modest, and incredibly generous. Sal was the kind of man people admired and enjoyed. He loved to sing, was an incredible dancer, favored a good James Bond movie, and music by Frank Sinatra.
Sal was indelible to those who knew him and he will forever remain our hearts. We love you, Sally Boy, Dad, and Grandpa!
