Howard J. Rowe Jr, of Fairport, passed away on May 28th, 2023, at 80 years of age.

Howie was a beloved music teacher, successful composer, and professional trumpet player. Playing in several bands, watching his students continue their musical education and seeing his original pieces performed gave him great happiness. He will be remembered for his kind heart, tremendous sense of humor and delightful curiosity.

Howie’s love story with wife, Donna, was one for the books – neither leaving the other’s side for 52 very happy years. In his final days, he said he missed Donna terribly and wanted to be with her once again. It gives his loved ones great peace that they have now been reunited.

Howie is survived by his son Charlie, daughter Lindsay and partner Scott, sister Carole Schulte and brother Richard Rowe.
