Mildred is survived by her children, Belinda Alvelo and Dexter John Scott Jr.; significant other, Dexter Scott; grandchildren, Siara N. Nieves, Sabrina J. Nieves and Joaquin J. Nieves; great-grandchildren, Ava N. Nieves-Morrison, Aris T. Nieves-Morrison and Anais Nieves-Morrison.
