Greece – Catherine Lu Hitchcock, 53, passed away July 15th after a long courageous battle with MS.  Cathy graduated in 1988 from Roth High School in Henrietta.  Cathy’s love of animals led her to dog grooming school.  She referred to all animals as “babies”. Cathy loved her family, friends, traveling, music, concerts and creating art at Pieter’s Life Center.  Her infectious laugh and big beautiful blue eyes will always be remembered.  Cathy was everything to her family.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Tom Inguagiato; mother and stepfather, Carol and David Hunting; brothers Stephen Hitchcock and William (Celeste) Hitchcock; nephew Jordan Hitchcock and niece Josephine Hitchcock; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.  She is predeceased by her father, Thomas Hitchcock, and Uncle, Robert Hitchcock.

A special thanks to Cathy’s long time mother/daughter aide team of Vicki and Jenny Sauls, and to the many doctors and nurses who cared for Cathy over the years.

Friends and family are invited to gather together at 10 AM followed by a celebration of life at 11 AM on Monday, July 24th, at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY. 14623, with reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY. 14626.
