Passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 59. Predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Eleanor [Lund] Ritz. Survived by her siblings, Nora (Robert) Relyea, William (Michele Coe) Ritz, Lynette (Martin) Hallinean and Margaret Wetzel; her aunt, Carol Hanley; 10 nieces and nephews; 10 great-nieces and great-nephews; and many cousins and dear friends.
Pat was sweet, funny and generous to her family and friends, anyone she met became a friend to her. She loved sending and receiving notes, birthday and anniversary cards locally and across the country to her extended family. She remembered those dates most often without the benefit of a calendar. She would often end a note, visit or phone call with “you need anything, you call me “. She loved shopping and baking, coloring and giving away the results to special people. She was an avid photographer, taking her camera with her every day to record people, sunrises and sunsets, her surroundings and dogs, using the pictures to make albums for loved ones. Bowling with her friends at Holy Childhood was a favorite activity.
Christmas was a most special occasion for her and she prepared all year for it buying gifts for friends and family. On the big night she would leave a note for Santa and Mrs Claus, a plate of cookies and carrots for the reindeer. She woke to only leftover crumbs and a note from Santa written in invisible ink.
Her clothing was carefully coordinated right down to the undergarments and hair accessories. But her most favorite thing in the world were “dogs, dogs, dogs “.
Pat loved and was loved by all and will be eternally missed.
