Robert J. O’Neill (“Bob”) passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 86, surrounded by his beloved wife of 58 years, Francine A. O’Neill (nee Pellegrino), and son, Stephen (Donna J.) O’Neill. Bob is also survived by his sister-in-law Carol (Tom) Hanley, many precious nieces and nephews, and devoted, loving friends.

Bob was born to James and Mary O’Neill and grew-up in Brooklyn, NY, but made Rochester his home in 1964 after meeting the love of his life, who these past 25 years has also been his devoted caregiver as he endured serious medical issues. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force (AC1) where he learned his trade and retired from the Rochester Telephone Company after 40 years of service as a “special services” PBX technician.

Bob will be honored at a Funeral Mass held on SATURDAY July 29, 2023, at 11 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 601 Edgewood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618. CLICK HERE for a map to the Church.
