Zachary Lewis Ackerson, age 30, sadly passed away July 27, 2023.

Zachary is survived by his loving parents, Stacey & Terry; sister, Shannon; and nephew, Logan (Bam Bam); grandparents, Beth & Lew Skillman & JoAnn Ackerson; aunts, Paula Principe (Bestie), godmother and aunt Erin, and Amy; uncles, Scott (Shelli Ann) & Paul Ackerson; cousins, Kelly, Chase, Kyle (Ashley), Cassie (Karl), Emily, Joshua & Noah; extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Phil Ackerson; aunt, Robin Skillman; & uncle, Greg Skillman.

Zachary graduated from Alfred State College in 2013. Zachary loved to hunt at camp with his Dad (Faja), 2nd Dad, Bob and friends, ride four wheelers and snowmobiles. Zachary’s smile and personality always lit up a room. He will always and forever be his Mom’s Baby Boy.

Family and friends may call at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, 3325 Winton Road South, Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 4-7 PM. Zachary’s Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, 10 AM at St. Marianne Cope Parish at Guardian Angel’s Church, 2061 E. Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14623. Interment, Ascension Garden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Zachary’s name to the American Liver Foundation.
