Jason George Summerville

September 11, 1978 – July 27, 2023

Jason Summerville, 44, longtime resident of Victor, New York died on July 27, 2023.

A 1997 graduate of Victor High School, Jason earned a BS in International Business from St. John Fisher College in 2003.

Jason had a passion for the food business; and was an excellent cook with strong feelings about nutrition and feeding the hungry. As a natural collaborative salesperson, he was employed by both Palmers Food Service and Renzi food service in Institutional Sales, until such time as he started his own business, State to Plate, with a focus on “feeding the hungry” and institutional Sales to Food Banks across the United States.

Surviving Jason is his family; “the love of his life” and wife of ten years, Amber Renee (Bonczek), and three children: Mackensie Grace, aged ten, Raegan Patricia, aged eight, and Theron Douglas, aged three. Brother; Ian, wife Sarah, and niece Angelina Rosemary of Dubuque, IA; and Brother; Sean of Austin, TX. Father and Mother; Douglas and Angeli Summerville of Minden, NV. And Great Grandmother Susan Aguilar of Santa Barbara, CA. Jason also had numerous, loving, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and dear friends, throughout California, Indiana, Illinois, Nevada, New York, Oregon, and Washington. In the family, Jason was known as the “herder gatherer” as family and friends meant everything to him.

Jason’s intelligence and quick wit, infectious laugh, sense of humor, kindness to others and sentimental nature, are characteristics of his life imprinted on the souls of all whom he touched. Jason attended both Willow Brook Christian Church, New Revival Church and had given his life to Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

His family and friends will miss him dearly and as Jason would say “I’d miss me too.”

A Celebration of Jason’s life will take place Saturday August 5^th at 11:00AM at Willow Brook Chistian Church, 619 High St., Victor, New York.
