Donna Marie (Cleaver) Hatch (75) of Rochester, NY passed peacefully at home August 2nd, 2023. Born in Auburn NY, she is predeceased by her husband, Dale Hatch (2000), and parents, Ashton and Alice (Schellenger) Cleaver. Survived by her daughter Kristin (Chuck) Detro; siblings Gary (Sharon) Cleaver, Bruce Cleaver, Karen Wygal; Grandsons Jon and Bradon Detro, nephew Robert Wygal, and her beloved kitty Tabatha.

Her first career with Bausch and Lomb and Xerox was multifaceted. She took pride in her work and as a woman more than held her own in male dominated fields. After retirement, she found her life’s passion as a true Fenton Fanatic. Her immense and diverse art glass collection evolved into her becoming a dealer, buying and selling glass, giving lectures, cultivating relationships and inspiring others to find joy in the beauty of this artform. She was also an active participant in the Depression Glass Club in Rochester for many years. Donna always had time for her family, caring when we were in need, cheering from the sidelines when appropriate, and jumping in when she could. Illness and dementia took all of these things from her, but now she is free and whole.

Calling hours will be Tues, Aug 8th from 4-7pm at Miller Funeral Home (3325 Winton Rd. South). A short graveside service will be held on Wed, Aug 9th at 1pm at Maplewood Cemetery, Middle Rd, Henrietta. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the American Diabetes Association.
