Don Edward Gay passed away on August 13, 2023 at the age of 73. Son of Elbridge Gay and Winifred Harper Gay. Predeceased by brother Charles Elbridge Gay, and sister Sally Jane Gay Lewke.  Survived by daughter, Julianne Kowalski and husband, Ken, grandson  Hunter, brother, Gary Harper Gay (Carlene) and sister Ona Lea Gay Wood (Harry), many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Don was born on February 12, 1950 in Schenectady NY, grew up near Holley NY and attended school there. He spent his working years in many aspects of the auto industry, which he loved. He also loved boating, motorcycles and the beach.  He loved his family and getting together, his dogs, Jack, Jill and Max, his house and gardens, The Oh Hell card game and cousin Bob.

Celebration of Don’s life will take place at his home, 25 Locust Hill Drive, Rochester. Saturday August 26th from 2 PM to 5 PM. CLICK HERE for a map to the house.
