He is deeply loved and will be missed by those who knew him.
Thomas grew up in a large family devoted to the Catholic church. In Tom’s early life he married and had his three boys. He attended RIT Genesee School of Nursing where he was one of the first male nurses to graduate. After attending school, he worked at Kodak Medical where he stayed for most of his career. It was here that he met his second wife with whom he had a daughter. Passionate about helping people, Tom never fully retired. He instead went on to become an independent nurse, administering flu shots in the area or performing wellness checks for various local health insurance companies. Tom met and married the now late, Karen Grant, some years later. She valued family as much as he did, bringing 2 more grown sons into his life. He found joy in their adventures outside, including long bike rides. It was a devastating loss to him when she passed away so young from cancer. He remained close with his in-laws, Laurie and Jerry Baker as well as their children Riley and Jenna. His final occupation was at Webster Parks and Recreation where he took pride in helping the building and the community thrive. He loved this job and the work relationships that were formed. Tom was also an active member of the Rotary Club of Webster, serving as their President last year. You could often find him volunteering his time throughout the community. Tom was a man who found value in hard work, service to his community, and his wonderful family.
