As my 5th grade teacher at Jefferson Road School in 1968, he'll always be Mr. Martin to me. He was smart, gentle and kind. Toward the end, he and my father, Lee Howe, played chess regularly. My sincere condolences to his family.

Bill was such an immense influence while being a quiet personality during his time at the Pittsford Schools. We are all grateful for his many contributions as a teacher, friend and financial visionary. May memories of the good times stay with you always.

I don't remember Bill as a teacher as much as I do at Pittsford Federal Credit Union. He was a welcome site when I first joined and he helped me many times when I needed advice and guidance. He will be sorely missed. A fine gentleman indeed.

Bonnie, Billy, Pati, Jennie, and Megan….I lack the words to describe what Bill Sr meant to me. He was my guiding light, my educator, my mentor. He taught me what member service meant. Grateful for him, always. My deepest condolences to each and every one of you from deep within my heart to yours.
