Diane Marie Kober
“Princess Di”, “Dr. Kober”
After a courageous and upbeat 35-year life with cancer, Diane passed peacefully away with family at bedside, on October 3, 2023, at the age of 67. Diane was a retired nurse of 41 years.  She gave a lifetime of service helping anyone along her way.  After retirement she volunteered at The Blessing Room Food Pantry, The Hands of Hope Kitchen and continued nursing for her family and close friends right up until the end.  Diane always showed strength and determination throughout her life.  Her contagious motto of life was “a body in motion, stays in motion” resonates through the family.

Diane graduated from Syracuse University in 1977 and married the love of her life on August 19, 1979.  Diane was an avid traveler, had a love for all things water and making memories with her grandchildren Cierra, Ryan, and Andrew.

She was predeceased by her husband Albert Kober, Step-father Jim Castelli and her grandparents Gerald and Cecilia Casey.  She was survived by her two daughters Heather (Josh) Mullen of Ma, Lindsay (Greg Talmadge) Kober-Talmadge of Lima; her mother Lorna Castelli of Victor; Sister Kathy (Craig) Wecher and brothers Mike (Karen) Baker, and Bill (Pat) Baker; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

No prior calling. Friends may attend services, Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 11 am in Saint Catherine of Siena, 26 Mendon Ionia Road, Mendon, where a reception will follow.
