Evelyn Ruth Dreste of Victor, passed away on November 9, 2023, at age 85. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Robert C. Dreste. She is survived by her children, Nancy (Peter) Krueger, of Victor and Robert (Lisa) Dreste, of Middlesex; grandchildren, Lisa Militello DePaul, Anthony Militello (fiancé, Lindsay Abraham), Mark (Alexandra) Militello, Michelle (Andrew) Georgis, Christine Krueger, Taylor (Zach) Tuttle and Meryl (Ryan) Fritz.; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Ruth’s working career consisted of being the Director of Human Resources at The Society for the Protection and Care of Children (SPCC). Ruth was a longtime member of The First Presbyterian Church of Victor, where she served as an elder and a deacon and was also the church secretary for many years. She was an avid bridge player, Mahjong player, enjoyed listening to jazz music, and traveling and spending time with her family.

Calling hours are Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, 301 West Main Street, Victor, New York. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at The First Presbyterian Church, 70 E. Main St., Victor.
