Lee Holmes VandenBos Osburn

Victor, NY: Passed away unexpectedly on November 3, 2023 at age 69. She was predeceased by her father, Bertram Holmes.  She is survived by her husband, Gordon Osburn; mother, Audrey Holmes; children, Christopher (Gwen) VandenBos, Sarah VandenBos; grandchildren, Christian and Anastasia; siblings, Paul (Susie) Holmes, David (Lizanne) Holmes, Douglas (Jill) Holmes; nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Lee spent her youth in Smithtown, NY before attending SUNY Brockport. She remained in the Rochester, NY area where she raised a family and pursued a career as VP of HCR and eventually as Director of Medicine at Rochester General Hospital. She retired after being diagnosed with MS, then met and married her husband, Gordon.

Lee enjoyed gardening, traveling, beaches, Civil War re-enacting, music, and her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services and interment will be held privately. A Celebration of Lee’s Life will be held Summer 2024. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The National MS Society, 1000 Elmwood Ave #900, Rochester, NY 14620. (Donate Online)
