Survived by his loving wife of 36 years Rosemary (Horton) Bouchard, his son Louis, daughters Christine Kralles (Alex) and Debbie Parent (Martin), his stepchildren Kathy Kastner (Jeff Gaudiosi) and Robert Blickwede, grandchildren Ryann (Paul), Jordan, Brett, Emma, Emily, Hannah, Cooper, Connor, Michael, Daniel, Danielle, Kayla and great grandson Leo.

He is predeceased by his father, Lewis, his mother Rose, and his brother Ronald.

Lou graduated from high school, class of 1958 and then joined the US Marine Corp, where he served for 4 years. Lou was stationed in Japan and at the US Embassy in Rome. After an honorable discharge, he came back to Rochester, where he attended RIT, graduating in 1973 with a BS in Management. After 43 years as Security Expert for Kodak and Northrup Grumman, Lou retired as Director of Security Operations for Lockheed Martin.

After retirement Lou, continued his service as the Special Events Chairman for the Cooper Marine Post #603 of the American Legion and he volunteered for the Honor Flight of Rochester which channeled his passion supporting local veterans.

However, Lou’s career didn’t define him as a person. He was a loving husband, devoted father and proud grandfather. During his retirement years he was never busier, attending events for the grandkids and was active in his church. He was also an avid New York Yankees, Buffalo Bills, and Syracuse Basketball fan.

Lou will always be fondly remembered by those who knew and loved him.
