Mom was born in Hokkaido Japan and came to the United States in 1958 when she married Dad and became a proud U.S. citizen. Mom was a gifted artist, avid gardener and excellent cook. She spent many years as a sushi chef working at Fuji-Ya in Pittsford. She had a tight network of lifelong Japanese friends. She was a lover of all animals which included owning and breeding pugs. With an eye and appreciation for fashion, mom was always in style.

Mom was the center of our family and will be greatly missed. She is at peace in heaven with our dad now. Love you Mom, until we meet again.

Donations in her memory can be made to the American Red Cross, 1040 University Ave, Rochester, NY 14607. (WEBSITE LINK)

Service and interment will be held privately.
