Regina Marie Lenhard (Gina) passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 74. Predeceased by her parents Dominick and Elizabeth Spatola, siblings Jacqueline Spatola, Anthony Spatola, Edward Spatola and Elizabeth Garren (Tizzy). Survived by her husband of 55 years, Michael Lenhard, her children Barbara Collins (Bill) and Todd Lenhard (Sonja), grandchildren Kyle Collins, Nick Lenhard (Alexsandra), Ryan Collins and Zack Lenhard, siblings Gail French, Robert Spatola (Lorraine), John Spatola (Kathy) and Rosemarie Bielski (Richard), many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Gina was always actively involved in the community starting with the Girl Scouts all the way through her recent involvement with the Henrietta Senior Center and many other organizations in between. She was always concerned with everyone else’s wellbeing and was there to help doing anything within her ability from making meals to lending a listening ear. Gina loved playing cards and games like euchre, mahjong and hand and foot.  She was creative and enjoyed doing crafts and decorating for every holiday, Christmas was her favorite of course.

Gina achieved many personal and professional accomplishments. Gina & Mike owned their campground in the Adirondack’s for 30 years (25 of which were part of the Yogi Bear franchise) where they formed many life long friendships that led to their extended family. Gina & Mike’s hard work, passion and relationships with other campground owners earned them a “Hall of Fame” award from the Campground Owners of New York which is a recognition of their contributions to the campground industry as a whole.

Gina had many friends and acquaintances in all walks of life and was sincerely loved by many.  We chose her final resting place as Ascension Gardens so that she would be indoors and WARM!

Friends may call on SATURDAY March 16, 2024 from 12-2 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South). Gina’s Memorial Service will follow in The Interfaith Chapel of the funeral home at 2 PM.
