Nancy S. Taylor (1935-2024) March 13, 2024

Nancy was born in Garrett, Indiana on October 9, 1935 to the late Charles and Maurine (Kistler) Hopkins. The family relocated to Akron, Ohio where Nancy attended East High School and met her lifelong love and companion, Richard “Dick” Taylor.
Dick and Nancy were married on July 11, 1953 and relocated to East Rochester, NY in February 1962.
During the early years of their marriage, Nancy focused her energies on nurturing their five children. As they got older, she returned to her career as an executive assistant and became active in church, school, scouting and local community services. Nancy enjoyed travel, music, cooking, art, needlework and reading, but her most cherished memories came from the family time together with her grandchildren.
All who knew her will remember Nancy as a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Nancy is survived by husband Richard Taylor; sisters Janice Griffith and Martha Balogh (Dale); children Jeri El Hage, Joni Lucas (Kevin), James Taylor (Amelia), Jill Willoughby and Jeffrey Taylor; grandchildren Justin Willoughby (Sarah), Christina El Hage, Jacqueline Jensen(Chris), Laura El Hage-Youbi (Mehdi), Abigail Beachy(Trent), Julia Ludwig(Daniel), Jessica Ryan (Mike), Nicole Taylor, Rachel Taylor, Lindsey Becker(Kevin), Hannah Taylor, Cameron Lucas, Johanna Erway, Wren Taylor and Bridget Taylor; great-grandchildren Jack Willoughby, Paris Malone, Ellie Willoughby, Owen Ryan, Ryker Beachy, Mason Ludwig, Silas Beachy and Aiden Youbi.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:30 pm on March 16, 2024 at the Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14623 (CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE LIVESTREAM). Private interment at the convenience of the family.
