Passed away on December 14, 2020, with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Lou (Ambroselli) Achille and son, Lawrence “Larry” Achille. He is survived by daughters, Denise (David) Sprout, Lorraine (Jeff) Flowerday; sons, Thomas (Penny) Achille, Steven (Heidi) Achille; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Antoinette “Dolly” Lazzara and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Giacomo (Jack) was a World War II veteran who served in the Army in the First Calvary Division. He received his degree from St. Bonaventure University and while studying there, met the love of his life Mary Lou, and they shared 65 beautiful years of marriage until her passing two years ago. Jack’s career as a History teacher at Mc Quaid Jesuit spanned an impressive 38 years. He is remembered fondly, even to this day, by his former students as their favorite teacher and a man who shaped and inspired so many of them. Those of us who were lucky enough to have him in our lives knew him as a father, grandfather, sibling, uncle and friend. We were blessed to have this amazing man, whose kind and compassionate spirit touch us all. He will be truly missed.

Family and friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Road South) on TUESDAY (12/29/20) from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00pm. To register for calling hours CLICK HERE.
