Geri Krienke, age 81, of Los Angeles, California passed away May 10^th, 2024 in her adopted city of Rochester, New York.  Geri was born February 19^th, 1943.  She was preceded by her husband Gary.  She is survived by her two sons, Todd (Robin) and Rick (Heather).  Grandchildren Andrew (Antonia), Sara, Hunter, Ethan, Sierra, Lily and Dakota.  And by 5 Great-Grandchildren.  A private graveside service will be conducted at White Haven Memorial Park.

Geri loved education, earning three different Master’s degrees while working across the country, starting in California with a stop in Illinois until ending in New York.  She worked as a Civilian Contractor for the Army, in their Computer Information Systems area, when computers were barely a thought.  She also worked for Xerox for many years as a Project Manager.

Geri loved poetry and nature, oftentimes intertwining the two into mini works of art, proudly reading them during her Poetry Club meetings.  Geri loved sports and especially enjoyed watching her kids and grand-kids play.  Geri enjoyed a good walk and just being able to feel the world around her.  Geri, while not always comfortable showing it, loved her family and will be missed.
