Karl E. Falter passed away on June 20, 2024 at his home in Farmington, NY. He was born on September 30th, 1947 in Neckarhausen, Germany and immigrated to Rochester, NY as a young teen. Karl proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War on the USS Austin,and received a National Defense Service Medal and was honorably discharged in 1974.

Karl retired from PayChex in 2018, where he worked for almost 30 years. He loved birds, woodworking, visiting his family in Germany, and drinking German beer. He was a devout Buffalo Bills fan and an amateur photographer. He also appreciated classic cars and Formula 1 racing.

He is predeceased by his father, Karl Falter, and mother, Helena Rozycki. He is survived by his loving daughter, Fanny Falter and her husband, Steve Humphreys.

He is also survived by his family in Germany: brother, Norbert (Marita Falter); niece, Carolin Falter;( Carolin Kortschik) and nephew, Sasha Falter (Ramon) and their son, Samuel. Daughters Sheryl Falter and Michelle White.

A private memorial is being planned.
