Denise Catherine Seibert, 72, passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2024 surrounded by her family. Denise was born on June 4, 1952 in Queens , New York, the daughter of the late Ann and George Smith. She was married to the love of her life, Charles Seibert for 51 years. They raised their two daughters in Honeoye Falls, New York.
A daycare owner and director, Densie not only raised her two girls, she was also a second mom to the many children that came through her front doors everyday. Opening her heart and her home, Denise was a source of fun love learning for all the children she cared for. While caring for others came naturally to Denise she was also a woman of many interests. She was an active member of book groups, garden clubs and especially Group D Loop- her monthly craft club of over 40 years. While Denise loved to travel and explore new places she was especially happy at the beach. Her interests in gardening, cooking, reading, home decorating, and crafting made her a treasured source of information for all those who knew her. Denise’s family was her life and she will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.
Denise is survived by her two daughters Jennifer Sessa (and husband Bart Sessa) and Jessica Seibert (and husband Dwight Symonds), her brother Gerorge Smith (and wife Joan) and sister Nancy Lorenz (and husband Marty), many nieces, nephews, cousins and her cherished pup, Brie. She is predeceased by her sister, Carol Roof.
