Gary T. Messineo of Henrietta, passed away suddenly on July 26, 2024, at the age of 71. Known for his big heart and his wonderful sense of humor, he will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

He is predeceased by his father, Carl Messineo; mother, Luella [Moose] Messineo Dunn; stepfather, Norman Dunn; sister, Kathie L. Messineo (Leon) Gibson; and stepbrother, Eugene Dunn.

Gary is survived by his wife of 40 years, Theresa [Barone] Messineo; nieces, Savannah (Robert) Makowski, Georgia Dunn, and Tammy Lueders; nephew, Lars (Karen) Lueders; brother-in-law, Chuck (Brenda) Barone; sister-in-law, Marie Giancursio Dunn; as well as his special grandpups, Kafi and Freya.

Although Gary spent 45 years working for Computer Consoles, eventually turned VoltDelta, his true passion was Skylark Enterprises. He founded the sound and lighting business in high school, and it has continued since. He made an impact on the lives of every student he mentored through the company. He was the parent that everyone wanted and needed, turning students into family. A great lover of music and stage production, he wouldn’t miss a rock concert if his life depended on it.
