Died peacefully from complications of lymphoma on December 9, 2024 at age 83. Predeceased by his wife, Marilyn Zientara (McKenny); parents, Joseph and Josephine Zientara; sister, Trudy (Gerald). Survived by his loving children, David (Arlette), Kathryn Zientara and Jane (Eric) Kellerman; grandchildren, Sara and Evan Ciurca, Ella and Luca Zientara, Rylynn and Arabella Kellerman.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, December 15, from 1-4 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S). Gene’s Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, December 16, at 10 AM at St. Marianne Cope Parish at Guardian Angels (2061 E Henrietta Rd). Interment private. Donations in Gene’s memory may be made to Marianne Cope Parish and Catholic Charities.
