In Loving Memory of Joanne D’Agostino

Joanne D’Agostino, 78 years old, born on February 26, 1947, passed away on March 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia.

Joanne was predeceased by her parents, Florence and Anthony (Sax) Cortese, her brother Jerry Cortese, her sister Donna Cortese, and her son Joseph Castrechino.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert D’Agostino, and her ex-husband Carl Castrechino. Joanne leaves behind her children: AnnMarie (Dave) Saylor, Janine (Rex) Johnson, Anthony (Debbie) Castrechino, Carla Vetromile, Robert (Cindy) D’Agostino, and Anna D’Agostino. She is also survived by her siblings: Ronald (Maria) Cortese, Sharon Burgio, and Yvonne (Vinny) Finazzo.

Joanne was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, who brought immense joy to her life.

Her beloved fur babies, Cheech and Chong, held a special place in her heart.

Joanne’s love for her family was unparalleled. She had a fondness for boxed wine, enjoyed trips to the casino, Saturday night poker games, soap operas and cooking shows.

Joanne’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Family and friends may call at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, 3325 Winton Road S., Friday, March 14, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, where a Memorial Service will follow at 1:00PM in the Interfaith Chapel of Miller Funeral and Cremation Services. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Monroe Community Hospital, HOPE 2, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620, where they took excellent care of Joanne during her last days.
