Blanca Elisa Lopez-Franqui born 20 February, 1941 in Barrio Piletas, Lares, Puerto Rico recently called home on 4 March, 2025 in Rochester, New York.
She was our sunshine. Adventurous, courageous, fun-loving, with a beautiful voice who loved to sing along to her favorite songs on the radio as much as she enjoyed dancing to them. She kept her children on their toes always surprising them when they least expected. When she loved you, she loved you with her whole heart. When someone greeted her with an “I love you”, her reply was always, “I love you more.”
Preceded in death by her parents, Juan Elias Lopez-Molina and Maria Franqui-Figueroa, sisters Nereida Lopez-Franqui, Aurea Lopez-Rivera, brother Samuel Lopez-Franqui.
Survived by her children; Brenda (Joseph) Ferrara, Christopher Ranney, Durran (Tracy) Ranney, Shawn (Gwen) Ranney, Shannen (Emily) Ranney. As well as brothers Juan Anibal Lopez-Franqui and Angelo (Jeanette) Lopez-Franqui, and sisters Ileana Lopez Restivo, Gloria Bachorowski Lopez, Eroita Lopez Webster (David).
