Lee E. Koon

Rochester: passed away on April 18,2025 at age 80. He was predeceased by his
son. Daniel Koon; parents, Edward & Virginia Koon. He is survived by his wife of 57
years, Pamela (nee Snyder) Koon; daughter Laura Koon; daughter-in-law,
Marybeth Koon; grandsons, Benjamin, Ethan, and Samuel, sisters: Suellen Koon,
Karen (Andy) Bartmess; nieces, Katie Marie and Bethany; Brother-in-law Craig
Snyder & niece and nephew Sarah Snyder and Scott Snyder.

Lee was an ordained American Baptist Minister and treasurer of Immanuel Baptist
Church for 20 years. Additionally, he was employed at New York State Department
of Labor for many years. He also was a boy scout leader.

Special thanks go to the many staff of St Johns nursing home for Lee’s care while
he was there. Additionally, Tenessa Williams who provided care and compassion
during the death of his son Daniel and Mohammed for the smile and joy he
brought to Lee’s face when he came in to provide care.

Also special thanks to the friends who provide support for Lee and his family
during these times.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday May 1 from 4-6pm at Miller
Funeral and Cremations Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South. Lee’s Funeral
Service will be held on Friday May 2nd at 11 am at the Immanuel Baptist Church,
815 Park Ave, Rochester.

Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be
made to:

Environment causes such as Greenpeace, the Nature conservancy or any others.
Humanitarian concerns such as ACLU, Doctors without Borders, Mercy Ships or
others.

And last, agencies for the protection and care of animals. Such as; Defenders of
wildlife, Physicians committee for Responsible Medicine or others.
