Audrey Dianetti, beloved matriarch, caretaker, avid golfer, and loving heart of her family, passed away peacefully, leaving behind an enduring legacy of warmth, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
Born in Berwick, Pennsylvania, Audrey built her life around family, love, and community. Together with her late husband, Jack Dianetti, she nurtured cherished family businesses, starting with a day and summer camp and eventually owning and operating a golf course, all of which became gathering places filled with treasured memories. Through all their adventures, their five children were always included. A passionate golfer herself, Audrey achieved the remarkable feat of six hole-in-ones, reflecting her spirited determination.
Audrey and Jack enjoyed many joyful winters in Florida, where their home became a favorite family destination filled with beach trips, poolside laughter, and lively games of cards and dominoes. Audrey’s playful yet fiercely competitive nature ensured memorable games, whether she was skillfully defending a hand of Euchre with the adults or sharing laughter around the domino table with her grandchildren, who always had to earn their victories.
Family was the true center of Audrey’s world. Her home overflowed with love—walls and shelves adorned with countless photos of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, each image a testament to the pride and tenderness she carried for her family. Sleepovers with grandchildren, filled with treats and laughter, along with festive holiday gatherings, created lasting memories. More recently, she delighted in the simple joys of coloring with dry-erase markers at her kitchen table, surrounded by her adored great-grandchildren.
Audrey maintained numerous meaningful friendships throughout her life, from golfing partners to neighbors in Florida and the community at the golf course. She loved sharing stories from years past as vividly as recent moments, often finding a reason to weave a memory or a piece of family history into the everyday.
Audrey’s devotion to family was especially evident in the gentle and motherly role she took on whenever needed, always providing warmth, stability, and care.
Audrey is predeceased by her beloved husband, Jack Dianetti. She is survived by her five loving children: Jack Dianetti, Jacqueline (Donald) Midlam, Jay (Jeanette) Dianetti, Jill (John) Zito, and Jamie (Priscilla) Dianetti. Her cherished grandchildren include: Maggie (Michael) Broker, Annie (Melissa) Dianetti, Katie (Jeffrey) Alkins, Jill (William) Zugner, Jeffrey (Josephine) Midlam, Joshua Dianetti (Ashley MacGregor), Jeremy (Morgan) Dianetti, Jordan Dianetti (Molly Vetter), John (Leanne) Zito, Jake (Kristina) Zito, and Jacob Nelan (Christina Cavuoto).
