Kenneth Charles Butterfield of Rochester, NY, passed away on January 17, 2021 at age 69.

Ken was preceded by his wife Patricia (Deys) Butterfield, and his parents, Robert and Muriel Butterfield.  He is survived by his son, William Butterfield, daughter-in-law, Leslie Beth Herbert, two granddaughters, Margaret and Ainsley, and loving companion, Kathleen Dickinson.  He is also survived by dear friends, Nick and Mary Bianchi, George and Manuela Nobrega, Peter and Karen Cormack, Betty Annechino, Katie (Chris) DiRaimondo, and Karen Dickinson, as well as his brothers Robert and James (Judy) Butterfield.

Ken, a West High School alum, was a retired Refrigeration Mechanic out of Local 13 and had a successful secondary career as a mental health case manager and counselor at DePaul Community Services. He was a former member and Drum Sergeant of the City of Rochester Pipeband.  He had a love of music, concerts, baseball (especially the Yankees!), and spending time with his friends and family. Ken had a loving, dedicated, and adventurous 35 year marriage with Patty, and then was blessed to find a second love with Kathy. He’ll be remembered for his sense of humor, being headstrong, and lighting up when talking about his granddaughters.
