Alison Katona

Gates, NY – Passed away on July 21st 2025 at the age of 63. Predeceased by her parents Laszlo and Eva Fulop. Survived by husband of almost 42 years Jozsef Katona; children Joseph (Gina) Katona and Jennifer Katona; grandchildren Joey and Kenzie; her two beloved dogs Luna and Stella.

Alison was a quiet, thoughtful individual who valued peace, privacy, and simplicity. An introvert by nature who found joy in solitude and carried deep love for her family. Alison never shied away from expressing her greatest accomplishment, her children. She went above and beyond as a mother, giving her whole heart to them, wishing nothing but happiness and success. Earning the title of grandmother later on brought upon a new profound kind of love. Aside from being family-oriented, Alison enjoyed going to the casino. Eyes wide with excitement, grumbles of frustration, it was guaranteed a good time. Let’s also not forget the crude sense of humor and wit that certainly brought on laughter. The world is less bright without her in it. Alison will be deeply missed. Her absence has left a hole in our hearts.
