Passed away peacefully on January 26, 2021, at the age of 88. She is reunited with Donald Gramlich, the love of her life, to whom she was married 63 years before his passing. Ann was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Dorothy Taillie, and brother Paul Taillie. She will be greatly missed by her children Lynn (Michael) Brazee, Greg (Amy) Gramlich, Beth (Joseph) Ugino and Leanne Gramlich Lapp. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lauren, Colin, Kevin, William, Peter, Olivia, Rudi, Jenna, Gavin, and Dylan; and her great-grandchildren Elaina and Brian. They will miss Grandma Memi, who loved them all so very much. The family would like to thank Tamisha Day and Days Companion Service for their kindness and care in Ann’s final years.
Ann was strong willed, with a great sense of humor. She was the life of the party; she enjoyed, travel, movies and the theatre, and playing late night card games with friends. Some of her best times were spent with her closest friends “the Udders,” whom she met in her many years of volunteering with the Girl Scouts. She served several years as president of the Girl Scouts of Genessee Valley; she also loved camping with her Scout troops and knew all of the Scout songs.
Services will be held at a date to be determined, later this year. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Girl Scouts of Western New York (1000 Elmwood Ave., Ste. 200, Rochester, NY 14620) Visit Website
