Zachary Merrill Winters passed away on November 11, 2025 at the age of 23. He is predeceased by his uncle Brian Winters. He is survived by his parents Craig and Tina Winters, brother; Daniel Winters, grandparents; Ron Winters, Lois Winters, Gary Merrill, Sharon Merrill, uncles; Steve Winters, Jim (Marie) Merrill, aunts; Trista (Jonathan) Merrill, Laura (Bill) Norton, cousins; Matt Norton, and Brian Norton.

Zach was a beloved, cherished son whose kind and gentle soul touched everyone who knew him. He had an innocent outlook on life, a gentle strength, and a wonderful sense of humor.

Social and engaging , Zach also appreciated time to himself – finding peace in the simple things. He loved dogs and found such joy in their companionship. A passionate gamer and sharp movie critic, he enjoyed diving deep into stories, always ready to share a thoughtful opinion or a clever observation. Zach loved working at West Herr Honda, where he took great pride in his job, formed genuine friendships with his colleagues, and looked ahead with hope and excitement for the future.

Zach faced his illness with remarkable courage and resilience, inspiring all who knew him and many he never met. The impact he made on others and the love he gave will be remembered forever. His light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved him.

Calling hours will be held at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services of Victor (301 West Main Street, Victor, New York 14564) on November 17, 2025 from 4pm – 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Zachary’s honor can be made to Lollypop Farm Humane Society.
