Virginia “Ginny” Williams

Age:79

Passed away December 7, 2025 with her devoted family by her side.  She was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Donald C Williams Sr,  her daughter Beth Ann Williams (Wanz), her beloved friends Mary & Richard Moran, Marilyn and her parents Howard & Helen Shawl.  She is survived by her children Donald  Williams Jr and Terri Williams (Lotti) , nieces  Shari (Jim) & Cathy (Chad), nephews Greg & David(Vanessa) and many cousins & grands.

Ginny was born in McKeesport PA, lived in Downy, California with her beloved Aunt Marie in younger years, but home was Rochester, NY. She enjoyed connecting with friends & neighbors when working & owning the Cornor Store in West Henrietta for many years.

Ginny took on the “mom” role for many children, whether they lived in the neighborhood, were friends of her children or just showed up at The Cornor Store.  She adopted & fostered many fur-babies and always had love for anyone who brought animals into their hearts.  She & Don spent many years traveling and connecting with people and making friends all over the country.  Two legs or four, her true passion was connecting with people and dogs.  She would meet them where they were at, show love and provide safety & sanctuary with her kind words, laughter and a cup of coffee or a treat.

Friends & family may join calling hours on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 4-6pm at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South.

Internment will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Spring 2026

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Lollipop Farm , 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 [Donate Online] or your local animal shelter
