William Wise passed away on January 11, 2026. He is predeceased by his brothers Gerald Wise, George Wise; and son Timothy Wise.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Mary Edna Wise; children Cheryl (Gary) Sullivan, Michelle (Rick) Brennan; grandchildren, Patrick Sullivan, Thomas Sullivan, Christine (Max Eberts) Sullivan, Michael Sullivan, Conor Brennan, Rory Brennan, Donovan Brennan; great grandchild James Eberts; siblings Peter Wise, Mary Ellen Frances, Richard Wise, Helene Quevedo, Michael Wise, Robert Wise, Stephen Wise; and many nieces and nephews

Interment will be held on Wednesday January 14, 2026 at 9:30am over at Riverside Cemetery (2650 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612). A celebration of life will be held at a later date in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations in William’s memory may be sent to Advent House, Chorus of the Genesee, or Al Sigl Center.
