Joanne M. Hirsh Ely passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 88. Born in Phoenix, NY, to the late Charles and Helen Neilson.

She was predeceased by both her husbands, Donal E. Hirsh and Donald Ely. She is survived by her children: Janette (Alan) Jennejohn of Deltona, FL and Donal (Dawn) Hirsh of Rochester, NY; grandchildren: Heidane (Chris) Sherwood of Rochester, NY and Ryan (Katie) Hirsh of Conesus Lake, NY; great-grandson: Patrick James Sherwood.

Joanne was a proud member of The Order of the Eastern Star.

Private services will be held.
