Christine Marie Formicola, age 59, was called home by the Lord on January 17, 2026. Born and raised in Rochester, New York, Chris received two Associates Degrees from Monroe Community College in 1988 and then subsequently continued on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Nursing from the University of Rochester School of Nursing in 1998. She then moved to Tampa, Florida later that same year. An animal lover at heart, Chris enjoyed taking care of stray animals and wildlife, spending time with family and friends, and watching football with her Tampa, Florida “Pittsburgh Steelers Crew.”

Chris is predeceased by her father, John Formicola; her brother, John Anthony Formicola; grandparents, uncles and aunts.

Chris is survived by her mother, Patricia Formicola; brother Frank (Julie Cronin) Formicola; niece and God-Daughter Amanda Formicola; uncle Mariano Formicola; uncle Fred Pratt; aunt Gloria Schafhauser; many cousins, friends, loved ones.

Chris is also survived by many friends and loved ones in Tampa, Florida including her God-Son, Amadio Hernandez.

Calling hours at Millers Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S) are Thursday, January 22, from 5-8PM.
