James Antoun Sakr, age 73, passed away suddenly on January 15, 2026.

He is survived by his children – Antoun, Mark, and Youmna – his cherished grandchildren, and his siblings. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss his optimism and joy for life.

James and his wife Yola immigrated from Lebanon in the 1980s and he spent many years serving the communities of Livingston County as an Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeon. While he was known for his work ethic, his greatest accomplishment was the life he built for his children and grandchildren. His legacy of perseverance will live on through them.
